Silent Möbius

Sequel manga launched in 2013 This year's December issue of Kodansha's Monthly Young Magazine announced on Tuesday that Kia Asamiya's Silent Möbius QD (Quadriga) manga is approaching its climax. The manga also announced in 2015 that it was approaching a climax, but the manga continued without taking a hiatus. The word "climax" written in the phonetic katakana alphabet often refers to the final chapter of a manga. Asamiya launched the series in August 2013 and Kodansha will publish the fourth compiled volume in December 20. Kei Shigema, scriptwriter on the Silent Möbius film, assists with the manga project. The story is set 17 years after Asamiya's original paranormal police manga Silent Möbius, which debuted in 1988. The original manga deals with Attacked Mystification Police (AMP), an elite all-female unit who protects Tokyo from Lucifer Hawks and other supernatural creatures in the 2020s. The new "special police battle fantasy" manga will feature a "reborn" AMP unit.
