In the first issue of Dark Nights: Metal, we learned that Kendra Saunders, the former Hawkgirl, is now known as Lady Blackhawk and that she has been investigating the mystery of Nth Metal for quite a while now. In Issue #2, though, we see Kendra visit a secret base (that happens to be the same base that the Legion of Doom used on the Challenge of the Super Friends, which was prominently used during Forever Evil) and meet up with a select group of DC characters who are all, in their own way, immortal. And while the mix involves those who are clearly heroes as well as those with more villainous tendencies, they all appear to be working in concert as a sort of Illuminati, formed to protect the DC Universe. 3DS version launched in West on Friday Nintendo began streaming a launch trailer on Friday for the Nintendo 3DS version of Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires' Conspiracy. The trailer previews the game's English dub cast. The game launched in the West on Friday. The game has been available on iOS and Android devices worldwide since July 20, and the game's Japanese Nintendo 3DS version launched on the same day. In the game, Katrielle Layton is the daughter of Professor Hershel Layton. The story is set in London, where she solves any incident, from missing cats to murder cases. Her initial purpose, however, was to look for her father, who has disappeared. The game was originally titled Lady Layton: Fugō-ō Ariadne no Inbō (Lady Layton: Millionaire King Ariadne's Conspiracy). STATUS: True As you may or may not know, the classic 1982 science fiction film, Blade Runner, was loosely based on the Philip K. Dick novel, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? Great book, but you could see why you wouldn’t want to call the movie that title. So the producers of the film actually went out and bought the rights to a SECOND book just for the title of that book, which was Blade Runner. So they used the title of that book, but nothing else from that book, which is why the movie doesn’t actually define the term “Blade Runner” in it (they do reference it a bunch of times, they just never actually say what it means). Writer Tom King has shed a bit more light on the secret project he’s working on with DC artist Jason Fabok, and it turns out that project involves Swamp Thing. King took to Twitter and revealed a page from the project, which he captioned, “The secret thing I’m doing with the @JasonFabok is now slowly coming to life.” The illustration depicts Swamp Thing reforming behind a man with a smoking gun who appears to just have fired off a shot. One of the biggest lingering plot threads from 2016’s DC Universe: Rebirth one-shot is the mystery surrounding the revelation that there’s not just one, but three versions of The Joker in the DC Universe. However, while we still don’t know when DC plans to explore this mystery further, the publisher has finally broken its silence on who will be the ones to do it. During the Q&A section of DC’s Batman panel on Saturday afternoon at C2E2 in Chicago, a fan asked if there be a resolution to the “three Jokers” tease from the Rebirth one-shot. “It is underway,” Batman group editor Jamie S. Rich said. “Jay Fabok is underway on pages now.
