3DS remake of DS game slated for October 26 in Japan Atlus began streaming a short promotional video on Friday for Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux, the Nintendo 3DS remake of its Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Nintendo DS game. The video shows animated clips from gameplay. The video also briefly advertises the game as a side-scrolling action game featuring Jack Frost and Pyro Jack, but clarifies that this game is not real. The remake is slated for October 26 in Japan, and Atlus USA will release the game in North America in early 2018. Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux will use the original game as a base while also adding original content, and the ability to save at any time even while exploring dungeons.
