The transition from manga to anime isn't always a seamless process. Projects hire character designers to reinterpret static artwork into something that can be animated in a manageable way. Doga Kobo returns to animate Zoku Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru season The official website for the Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru anime announced the second season's main staff and title on Wednesday. Tomoaki Koshida (episode director on Polar Bear's Café, Wagnaria!!3) replaces Takashi Naoya as the director, and the writing collective WriteWorks (production cooperation on Kizumonogatari, Tsukimonogatari) replaces Pierre Sugiura as the series script supervisors. Junichiro Taniguchi (Natsuyuki Rendezvous, Prison School) is returning to design the characters, and Doga Kobo will continue to animate for the new season. The new season's title is Zoku Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru. ("Zoku" means "sequel" or "continuation.") It will premiere in January. The second season will have the same setting as the first season. Game app launched in Japan, N. America on September 21 Game developer Mistwalker posted a Japanese video (with English subtitles) of Terra Battle 2 producer Hironobu Sakaguchi, executive producer Noriaki Kawahara, and game director Toru Kunihara explaining the recent emergency maintenance to the game. They apologized to those affected by the recent change in mechanics and in-game currency, and promised a refund in items. The recent maintenance and update that changed some of the mechanics and balance is the second update in the game since it launched in Japan and North America on September 21. The game also had an emergency update during its launch day. Aside from the iOS and Android versions of the game, it is also launching on PC at an unspecified later date. Sakaguchi introduced Terra Battle 2 alongside the Terra Wars game, both for iOS, Android, and PC. New manga debuts on November 6 The November issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine revealed the title of Capeta creator Masahito Soda new manga on Friday. The title of the new manga is Change!. The magazine teases the manga with the text, "She will surely never forget the moment the world changed. Put all of yourself in your words." The first chapter will have 87 pages and an opening color page. The manga will launch in the magazine's December issue on November 6. The November issue noted that the series will be Soda's first manga in Monthly Shonen Magazine since ending Capeta four years ago. Soda began his most recent manga The Tenth Prism in 2014, and the 12th and final volume shipped on February 28. Crunchyroll published the manga digitally simultaneously with the Japanese release. Soda launched his Capeta series in 2003, and he ended it in 2013. The manga won the Kodansha Manga Award in the Best Shōnen Manga category in 2005. The series inspired a 52-episode
