Yui Ishikawa (石川 由依 Ishikawa Yui, born May 30, 1989 in Osaka) is a Japanese anime voice actress represented by Sunaoka Office. Before she started as a voice actress, she was a stage actress and has been voicing radio dramas since 2002. 1. Spoon Oba-san actress was 84 Voice actress Reiko Seno (real name Reiko Tamaki) passed away on August 8. She was 84. Seno's best known anime role was the title character of the Spoon Oba-san television series, which ran from 1983 to 1984. She also lent her voice to minor roles in other anime, including Himitsu no Akko-chan, Panda! Go, Panda!, Eden of the East: Paradise Lost, and True Tears. As a voiceover artist, she provided the Japanese dub for Lucille Ball in the I Love Lucy television series. She also acted on stage as part of the Theatre Echo troupe. Sugisaki wins Face of Asia award for up and coming Asian performers The Busan International Film Festival in South Korea awarded Japanese actress Hana Sugisaki with its Face of Asia award for her performance as the main character Mary in Studio Ponoc and Hiromasa Yonebayashi's Mary and The Witch's Flower anime film. The award honors up-and-coming Asian actors and actresses. The film had its debut screening in South Korea on Friday during the film festival. The film festival will also screen the live-action Blade of the Immortal film, the live-action Let Me Eat Your Pancreas (Kimi no Suizō o Tabetai) film, and Akiyuki Simbo and Shunji Iwai's Fireworks, Should We See it from the Side or the Bottom? anime film. The festival has a focus on the works of Masaaki Yuasa, and will screen episodes from his The Tatami Galaxy and Ping Pong anime series, as well as his Night is Short, Walk On Girl and Lu over the wall films. 1st "holographic" stage event in franchise launched on Friday The official website for Idol Time PriPara Minna Atsumare Yokopama! Yume Kawa Magical Live, the franchise's first "holographic" stage event, revealed on Friday that the stage event will get additional performances from November 6 to 12. The additional performances will feature appearances by voice actresses Yō Taichi and Yuina Yamada on November 11, and voice actresses Himika Akaneya, Yū Serizawa, and Miyu Kubota on November 12. The voice actresses will have a talk show during the performance. Performances opened at the DMM VR Theater in Yokohama on Friday. The performances feature appearances by other voice actresses in the Idol Time PriPara anime, as well as a guest appearance by Hatsune Miku. The DMM VR Theater is a venue that uses "holographic" technology for virtual concerts and other events. The theater uses the same translucent "Pepper's ghost" screens that are used in concerts by Hatsune Miku and othe

San Jose convention to take place next May Northern California anime convention FanimeCon announced on Sunday that it will host voice actress Satomi Satou at his year's event. The event will mark Satou's first United States convention appearance. Satou debuted as a voice actress in 2007. Her notable roles include K-ON!'s Ritsu Tainaka, Fairy Tail's Wendy, Assassination Classroom's Yukiko Kanzaki, and Kamisama Kiss' Ami Nekota.
