Episodes available on YouTube, Steam SNK's official YouTube channel began streaming the fifth episode of The King of Fighters: Destiny, the animated adaptation of The King of Fighters fighting game franchise, on Thursday. The episode has Japanese audio and English subtitles. The episode is a side story that focuses on the childhood and martial training of Fatal Fury antagonist Geese Howard. The episode shows his exile from Stroheim Castle by his half-brother Wolfgang Krauser (also a Fatal Fury antagonist), his training with Jeff Bogard and Tung Fu Rue, his betrayal of the Hakkyokuseiken school, and his eventual murder of Jeff Bogard as the prelude to his rise to power within South Town. The series will have 24 episodes (initially listed with 20), and will be voiced by both Chinese and Japanese voice actors.
