Top 10 Super-Adorable Female Club Managers in Anime

In Japan, school clubs, and in particular, sports clubs, often have managers who take care of the club's well being, from making sure that club members actually practice to handing them towels after an intense game.

10. Miki Kanzaki from Yowamushi Pedal

Kanzaki Miki is a first-year student at Sohoku High School who is the younger sister of Kanzaki Tooji. Given that her family owns and manages a bicycle shop, she has been exposed to the world of bicycles and road races since she was very young.

While not a road racer herself, she is very passionate about anything that has to do with the sport. She is the manager of the Sohoku High Bicycle Club.

 

9. Chiyo Shino'oka from Big Wind-Up!

Chiyo Shino'oka is a big fan of baseball. She went to the same middle school as Abe and Sakaeguchi, where she played softball as a shortstop. In high school, she applied to be manager of Nishiura High School's baseball team, and Coach Momoe immediately approved her application.

She is in charge of making detailed reports about the opposing teams and preparing food for the members after practice, though the latter is switched to Abe and Mihashi over time.
She loves trying on other schools' uniforms, and often swaps uniforms with her friends and takes pictures.

When her best friend, Yuki, is hospitalized with an illness, Minami takes her place as manager for a high school baseball team, using Peter Drucker's Management as a reference point.

Gou Matsuoka is a 1st year student and the manager on Iwatobi High School swimming club. She has an easygoing and refreshing personality, as shown by the way she talks.

However, despite her friendly persona, she can get very angry if someone were to call her "Gou" because it is a rather boyish name for a girl.

As a manager, Gou can be strict when needed,but at the same time, supportive of the swim team's decisions and feats. She is actually quite efficient in her role as manager.Gou has an odd tendency to blush and get overly enthusiastic whenever she admires the muscles of men.

5. Riko Aida from Kuroko's Basketball

Riko Aida is the coach of the basketball team. She has the ability to be able to tell the potential of each basketball player just by looking at their bodies. Her ability works best when the players are shirtless. She got this ability by following her father to work.

Riko is so horrible at cooking that her teammates can't endure eating it. She can be really scary when she's mad, and she's often teased as being "flat-chested" compared to Touou's Momoi.

Ayako is the manager of the team and object of Ryota Miyagi's affections. Strong-willed, somewhat tomboyish and good-natured, at first Ayako does not seem to reciprocate Ryota's feelings for her, which she knows of, and will not until the end of the series.

She is directly responsible for sharpening Sakuragi's abilities for real matches by training him in the basics, such as ball possession and dribbling.

3. Hitoka Yachi from Haikyuu!!

Hitoka Yachi is a first year student at Karasuno High. She is one of boys' volleyball team's managers. She appears to be very nervous, but easily befriends Hinata.

She is shown to be paranoid with an overactive imagination, causing her to be intimidated by others a lot, and then having to apologize for being judgmental based on appearances and first impressions.

2. Satsuki Momoi from Kuroko's Basketball

The ex-manager of the basketball team at Teikou, and now serving as Touou's manager. Satsuki is in fact Aomine's childhood friend and enters Touou together with him because she can't leave him alone. She is actually in love with Kuroko and considers herself to be Kuroko's girlfriend.

Her reasoning for loving Kuroko is that he once gave her a coupon for an extra ice cream, although he only did this because he was already full. As noted by Riko her data collection abilities are elite and she resembles a spy while observing the game.

Satsuki Momoi doesn't only have the past data, but she can also predict the opponent's growth, and thus making her a great strategist.

 

1. Kiyoko Shimizu from Haikyuu!!

A mostly quiet girl in the beginning, Kiyoko Shimizu is shown to be serious and passionate about her position as team manager as when she along with the other third years were reluctant to step down from the club.

She cares a lot about the members of the team, as shown when she washed and fixed up Karasuno's old banner from back when they were strong to increase the players' morale.
